Exciting news this week for our Principal Kate Schwager.

Has been accepted and Kate will be doing a 20 minute presentation at the Australian Regional Development Conference at the Sunshine Coast on the 17th and 18th September. 

The program for the conference will be available next week. Invited speakers include The Hon Michael McCormack, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development, Mr Sanjeev Gupta, Executive Chairman & CEO, GFG Alliance.  

 

Here we have the third town in the Namoi Group of websites across the North West being launched www.walgett.net how does this fit into the area and how can it be edited so easily within all the other websites that make up the group.

Primal and Hunting and Outdoors came to Kates On Web from an intro from Silvafox Whistles.  They wanted an E-Commerce website for their business selling broadheads, replacement blades whistles, peep scopes, knives and sheaths and Primal Hunting gear eg. hats and t-shirts and videos.  Kates On Web set about putting the website together from scratch and they now have a mobile responsive secure e-commerce website that they can update with their new product themselves.

A new mobile responsive skin for the Wee Waa Echo Museum run by the Wee Waa Historical Society. You can view all the details about the museum on the website. 

With Google now searching from your mobile versions it is imperative that your website be mobile responsive. Negotiating Google search and how to stay at the top is difficult.

Having won the Agriculture's Rural Women's Award for this package in 2006 it has been a long journey to where it is now.  We still have Trangie and Boggabri and St George websites have had a major boost with a new skin and going mobile responsive on all except the St George website, this is still to come with a grant being sort to do so.  The group consists of a town website a calendar, a business directory and a snapshot of the South Western Area of Queensland using the Red Dust Telegraph website.

Celebration today of a wonderful Australian artist who turns 105 today.

Having visited her the last few months, I was delighted with my first visit in her new home in the mountains that she asked so many questions and remembered all those who asked after her.

My recent trip to Sydney and to see Helen was not so great as she was in her own little world. Still looking very healthy and well, just not quite here.

Ever thought about putting those courses you teach online.

I have, just not sure the audience wants more ways to edit their websites so use the DNN system. Will need to think a bit more on how to tackle it.
