Celebration today of a wonderful Australian artist who turns 105 today.

Having visited her the last few months, I was delighted with my first visit in her new home in the mountains that she asked so many questions and remembered all those who asked after her.

My recent trip to Sydney and to see Helen was not so great as she was in her own little world. Still looking very healthy and well, just not quite here.

I am hoping my next visit will be as exciting as the first and all those others in her home where I can tell her I have purchased quite a number of paintings of hers for friends and heard from people she would remember.

So, a remarkable woman who tells a splendid story or two, who should be admired for her work in telling the stories of the people she loved to be with over so many years. Browse her website I created some years back. Will do a revamp perhaps next year to make it mobile responsive.
